Edmodo This social learning network has a look and feel similar to Facebook, but with protection the classroom needs. Seperate classes can be set up, and teachers can create assignments for each class.
Remind If you want to text your students and parents with reminders and announcements without losing the privacy of your cellphone, you should check into Remind (Formerly Remind101). The service allows you to send a text to the parents without them seeing your phone number. The reverse is also true; you don't have to use the parents cell phone number either, so you are afforded that protection as well.
